O wydarzeniu
As part of the dialog with this year's Venice Biennale, Gallery A Space is honored to present "Pearl" - a solo exhibition by the extraordinary artist, Chantia Malaja. In her latest series of works, Malaja invokes the symbolism of pearls to provoke reflection on the essence of transformation and acceptance of the unfamiliar.
The "Pearls" by Chantia Malaja constitute a mystical journey through the process of transformation, symbolizing the beauty that can arise from embracing diversity. In each of Malaja's works, we discover the profound truth that the beginning of this process lies in encountering an unfamiliar element, one that may cause discomfort and pain but simultaneously lays the groundwork for something new and beautiful.
This solo exhibition by Chantia Malaja at Gallery A Space becomes an important voice in the dialogue surrounding this year's Biennale theme - "Foreigners Everywhere." Through a mystical interpretation of the pearl as a symbol of spiritual evolution, Malaja underscores the universality of the experience of transformation and the necessity of adapting to change. She conveys to us that the acceptance of the unfamiliar and unknown is an essential part of social and spiritual life.
We warmly invite you to visit the "Pearls" exhibition at Gallery A Space during the Venice Biennale, to discover the beauty and wisdom hidden within the process of transformation, which Malaja so deeply captures in her works.
