Posłańcy Mocy (Messengers of Power) presents a group of works by Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski in which the image emerges as a site of transmission rather than representation. The title does not point to identifiable messengers in any literal sense. Instead, it evokes figures, presences, and forms that seem to carry a force exceeding the visible world — something at once symbolic, elemental, and inward.

In these works, Oraczewski does not define power as domination, control, or external authority. Power appears here in a more primary sense: as intensity, energy, spiritual charge, and the capacity of form to make something otherwise inexpressible briefly present. The “messengers” are therefore not narrative characters, but carriers of tension. They stand at the threshold between appearance and disappearance, matter and sign, body and emanation.

A striking quality of this cycle lies in the instability of the image. The forms resist fixed identification. At moments they suggest the human figure; elsewhere they resemble vegetal growth, wings, totemic structures, or traces of a presence only partially revealed.
