RADIANCE FLOW
featuring the world premiere of
“Genesis of Ascent”
and the debut of Ambient Shift Art
ORAC Gallery · Spectrum Miami 2025
"Radiance Flow" is an exhibition that explores the moment in which light, movement and space dissolve their boundaries and begin to function as a single, living organism. Here, radiance becomes motion, and motion becomes the architecture of a shifting environment.
At the center of the exhibition stands “Genesis of Ascent”, the inaugural installation of the newly defined movement Ambient Shift Art — a vision in which an artwork does not simply exist within its surroundings, but actively shifts, displaces and reorganizes the ambient field around it.
The paintings of Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski — vibrating with organic tension, chromatic depth and the energy of rising forms — operate not as static objects but as impulses. Each work becomes a source of movement, generating subtle but irreversible changes in the atmosphere, rhythm and structure of the space.
“Genesis of Ascent” captures the precise instant in which an inner impulse becomes visible — the birth of movement, the emergence of ascent, the first vibration of space responding to the force of art.
In this exhibition, art is no longer confined to its borders.
It radiates, expands and transforms.
"Radiance Flow" invites viewers to witness art not as form, but as a phenomenon of shifting space, a field of energy unfolding into the world.

Invitation to the exhibition

In antiquity, a tessera was both a fragment of a mosaic and a password that opened doors. In this double meaning lies the essence of the exhibition: light as access to deeper experience, and at the same time as a space of unity.
The artistic practice of Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski has long been rooted in the exploration of tensions between opposing orders. His monographic exhibition at the National Museum in Kielce, entitled “Collisions”, revealed how the confrontation of disparate elements opens new perspectives. Lux Tessera goes further – from confrontation towards the alchemy of union.
In the presented painting, opposites – gold and blue, earth and sky, power and freedom – merge into one light. The symbolic figure of this unity is the lion and the eagle fused into one being. The lion embodies strength, courage, and rootedness, while the eagle symbolizes freedom, spirituality, and the flight beyond boundaries. Together, they form a sign of harmony that is only possible in art.
The exhibition also carries a symbolic dimension for Orac Gallery, which operates in both Venice and Warsaw. The lion – emblem of Venice – and the eagle – emblem of Poland – meet within this work, becoming a metaphor for the union of cultures, traditions, and energies. In this way, Lux Tessera seals a new chapter in the gallery’s mission of building bridges beyond borders.
Feel the Magic Of Venice
Following its presentation in Venice during the 2024 Biennale, the painting of Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski arrives in Warsaw. This exhibition offers an opportunity to encounter works that engaged an international audience and entered into a broader contemporary artistic dialogue. The two series presented — “Masks” and “Venice Whispers” — reveal contrasting dimensions of Venice, unfolding its complexity and layered character. “Masks” — inspired by the city’s carnival tradition — explores themes of identity and concealed meaning. These intense and expressive paintings reflect the interplay of roles and appearances that shape our presence in the world. “Venice Whispers” presents a more subtle and atmospheric vision of Venice as a space of light, shadow, and fleeting memory. In these works, the city seems to breathe in a suspended, mist-like stillness, revealing its poetic and contemplative nature. In both series, Oraczewski guides the viewer along distinct yet interconnected paths — from the dramatic tension of masked identities to the quiet resonance embedded in the city’s architecture. His paintings do not merely depict Venice; they evoke its pulse, history, and ambiguity. This presentation offers a rare opportunity to encounter in Warsaw works that emerged from Venice and formed part of one of the most significant international contexts of contemporary art. We look forward to welcoming you to ORAC Gallery.

The exhibition presents the series “Masks” and “Venice Whispers” by Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski, following their presentation in Venice in 2024. In these bodies of work, Oraczewski develops a sustained exploration of light, contrast, and spatial tension. His painting operates between concealment and disclosure, allowing shadow and form to enter into a measured and reflective dialogue. The series “Masks” examines themes of identity and constructed presence, drawing on the cultural memory of Venice while extending beyond it. In contrast, “Venice Whispers” unfolds a quieter register, where atmosphere, luminosity, and architectural rhythm shape a more contemplative experience. Presented in Warsaw, these works extend the trajectory of the Venice presentation, situating the paintings within a continued curatorial framework.
