Carnival Biennale Mask
Carnival Biennale Mask is a long-term curatorial project exploring identity, concealment, transformation, and the cultural and symbolic dimensions of the mask.
Carnival Biennale Mask is a long-term curatorial project examining the mask as a cultural and symbolic form through which questions of identity, concealment, transformation, and self-presentation are negotiated.
The project brings together artistic practices that explore the distance between appearance and inner presence. Within the Venetian context, the mask becomes both a historical reference and a contemporary device for thinking about visibility, role, authenticity, and change.
