ORAC Gallery is pleased to present its participation in ArtExpo New York 2026 with a booth centered on the painting of Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski.
At the heart of the presentation stands Wzloty (Ascent), a commanding work that defines the visual and emotional gravity of the booth. Through its expansive movement and heightened internal tension, the painting opens a field shaped by ascent, force, release, and the testing of limits. It serves not only as the central image of the presentation, but as the point from which its wider rhythm unfolds.
This central gesture is extended by additional paintings from Oraczewski’s Wiatr (Wind) cycle, in which motion, pressure, instability, and invisible force become essential elements of the image. Together, these works reveal a painterly language of unusual intensity — one that moves between concentration and expansion, structure and dissolution, stillness and propulsion.
